Creative Pathways: Empowering People in the Arts
Pink-collar Gallery is excited to introduce Creative Pathways, an empowering initiative designed to support working-class artists across the North East. We’re breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for artists to thrive. Whether you’re just starting out or an experienced practitioner, this program is tailored to help you grow. From networking to one-on-one consultations, and insights into the art world, this is your chance to connect, learn, and shape your creative career.
What’s Happening?
Speed Arting: Creative Networking Nights.
We’re thrilled to announce 3 amazing Speed Arting events, perfect for local creatives to connect, grow, and collaborate!
What is Speed Arting? Speed Arting is a unique networking experience designed for creatives to:
Meet others in the arts
Find collaborators or your creative tribe
Share ideas and expand your network
Inspired by "speed dating," you’ll enjoy quick-fire conversations, moving from table to table in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
All events will be hosted by the incredible Jay Sykes, who runs ArtyParti and has been our partner in crime for our past speedy events.

Currently on display at Port Independent.
Introducing The Creative Hub Board, designed by Sarah Stamp—a dynamic space at Port Independent where creatives can pin ideas, find collaborators, and connect with others. After the isolation many experienced during the pandemic, this board offers a unique, in-person way to break down barriers, bringing artists, designers, and creatives together in a physical space.
Whether you’re seeking collaboration, want to introduce yourself, or have an event or project to share, simply add your message to the board. It’s an open invitation to connect with like-minded individuals, exchange ideas, or chat over a coffee.
Following its launch, The Creative Hub Board will remain a permanent feature at Port Independent, ensuring that creatives have an ongoing platform to engage, collaborate, and build a supportive community in Sunderland.
