Collection: Sally Anderson

Sally's background is in performance arts, specialising in fire and LED, performing all over the UK, including historic venues in her native North East England. Although she studied Art and Design in college, she rekindled her love for drawing during a random photoshoot with a friend and fully embraced visual arts during COVID-19 to manage her well-being and stay creative.

Sally now focuses on facilitating visual arts through workshops and courses that champion creativity and fun, with clients like Poet in the City, Newcastle, and New College Durham. Her renaissance with visual art began with Sharpies, ProMarkers, and collages, and she currently works mainly in acrylics, especially Posca pens, on skate decks, canvas, and reusing scraps of cardboard.
In 2022, Sally completed a Psychology MSc, becoming familiar with the growing body of research highlighting the benefits of arts participation for mental health and wellbeing.
