A one-off line doodle artwork by Michaela Wetherell, Director of Pink Collar Gallery. This piece sits within an ongoing exploratory drawing practice, where mark-making becomes a way of thinking, relaxing, and sketching ideas into form.

Michaela Wetherell is an amateur maker who, after more than a decade working in the arts as a curator, producer, and director of Pink Collar Gallery, has recently begun developing her own creative practice. Long advocating that creativity is for everyone, this work comes from finally taking that belief seriously herself.

Working primarily through drawing and embroidery-based thinking, Michaela explores repetition, line, and flow. This piece embraces spontaneity and simplicity, where each mark responds to the next, building a quiet rhythm across the surface. It resists perfection, instead valuing gesture, movement, and process.
